Wonder Woman is a 2017 American superhero film starring the character of the same name by DC. It was released to the cinemas in the USA on 2 June 2017.[1]

PlotEdit

The film shifts the point where Diana, daughter of Queen Hippolyta, meets Steve Trevor from World War II to World War I, when he crash-lands on the hidden island of Themyscira while fleeing from German pursuers. Trevor convinces Diana that he must leave so that information he's learned about a new German invention can be reported back to British authorities. She accompanies him after deciding that Ares, the God of War, is responsible for the fighting.

The two undergo the journey against the wishes of Hippolyta, who comes to realize that Diana will go no matter what. After reporting the information in England, Diana and Trevor then go to the European continent to stop Ares, who Diana is certain is General Erich Ludendorff. Shortly after the battle with Ludendorff, Diana learns her true parentage and her destiny, defeating Ares. She also decides that she has a larger role to play in protecting the world of man.
